Delhi Police arrest 10 in crackdown on child sexual abuse material network

Delhi Police arrested 10 people in a five-day enforcement drive against child sexual exploitative and abuse material (CSEAM) in central Delhi.

The drive led to 10 FIRs under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act and IT Act at six police stations: IP Estate, Paharganj, Jama Masjid, Kamla Market, Patel Nagar, and Chandni Mahal.

Police seized mobile phones and digital devices from the accused for forensic examination.

The operation used cyber tip-line inputs from the Indian cybercrime coordination centre (I4C) and technical intelligence to identify suspects.

Deputy commissioner of police (central) Rohit Rajbir Singh stated the objective was to protect children from online sexual exploitation.
