Road rage: Driver rides with man clinging to bonnet for 1km in Bengaluru

Cab driver Ananth drove recklessly in Chowdeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru, around 11pm Friday.

Fellow cab driver Manjunath confronted Ananth and called police, prompting Ananth to try to run him over.

Manjunath clung to the bonnet of Ananth's car for nearly a kilometer as Ananth drove on.

Ananth ran over a stray dog during the incident; locals chased and forced the car to stop, but Ananth fled.

Ananth surrendered to police, tested negative for alcohol, and both drivers reached a compromise; Ananth was fined ₹3,000 for reckless driving.
