BCB, BCCI working on Sept window, subject to government nod; Afg T20Is may be postponed

Bangladesh Cricket Board and BCCI are working on an itinerary for India's tour of Bangladesh in the first half of September, subject to Indian government approval.

India's three-match T20I series against Afghanistan, scheduled from September 13 in Delhi, may be postponed to clear a window for the Bangladesh tour.

BCB has kept all venues free from September 1 and proposed options including matches at one or two venues, with T20Is and ODIs at different grounds (Dhaka and Chattogram leading).

The boards discussed the schedule at the recent ICC meeting in London; India's commitment to Afghanistan was considered a hurdle.

The BCCI has informed selectors about the Afghanistan series but delayed official announcement due to the potential rescheduling.
