PV Sindhu's China Open campaign ends in heartbreak

PV Sindhu lost to world No. 4 Chen Yufei 21-16, 20-22, 18-21 in the China Open second round.

Sindhu squandered four match points in the second game before Chen Yufei rallied to force a decider.

The match lasted nearly 90 minutes and was won by Chen Yufei, the Tokyo Olympic champion.

Sindhu had recently won the Japan Open title before entering the China Open.
