CJP protest: History will remember your courage, says Amol Palekar in open letter to students

Veteran actor-director Amol Palekar wrote an open letter to students protesting alleged irregularities in competitive examinations.
Palekar condemned the police crackdown on demonstrators and offered legal, medical and financial assistance.
The protests, spearheaded by the Cockroach Janta Party, began over the NEET paper leak issue and demand resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Police used batons, tear gas and water cannons to disperse protesters marching towards Parliament in New Delhi, injuring several students.
Palekar praised students for carrying forward 'the unfinished work of democracy' and said history will remember their courage.
