Manushi Chhillar says ‘had to sacrifice everything’ after 2015 NEET paper leak: ‘One of the toughest phases of my life’

Manushi Chhillar spoke about the emotional strain of retaking the NEET 2015 exam after the paper leak, calling it 'one of the toughest phases' of her life.

She said she had to sacrifice activities she loved, such as Kuchipudi dancing and painting, to focus entirely on the entrance exam.

Chhillar acknowledged her privilege, noting that her parents insisted on daily exercise, which helped her mental health, unlike many peers.

She recalled meeting students whose parents had borrowed heavily to fund coaching, and who lived in cramped PG accommodations while preparing.

The NEET paper leak led to nationwide protests and Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation as Education Minister.
