Brittney Griner filed for divorce from wife Cherelle Griner in Fulton County, Georgia, on Thursday, citing the marriage as 'irretrievably broken' and stating they have been separated since July 24.

Griner is seeking joint legal custody of their 2-year-old son, Bash Raymond, who was born on July 8, 2024, weighing 7 lbs, 8 oz.

The couple met at Baylor University in Texas and married in June 2018, according to Page Six, correcting earlier reports that said 2019.
