Navi Mumbai Traffic Police Launch Police Adopt A School Campaign To Promote Road Safety Among Students

Navi Mumbai Traffic Police launched 'Police Adopt a School: Police Child Safety Campaign' under the Road Safety and Child Safety Initiative 2026.
Each traffic division will adopt schools with a Police Sub-Inspector as nodal officer conducting weekly interactive awareness sessions.
Sessions include mock road layouts, games, and the 'Junior Traffic Police' programme where disciplined students become representatives.
Schools will hold drawing, elocution, and slogan-writing competitions; winners receive prizes from police.
School bus drivers and attendants will receive road safety training; traffic branches will coordinate with Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation for signboards and speed breakers near schools.
