Fortune teller fails to foresee horror: Power bank explodes as she sleeps, leaving her burned

Russian influencer Anna Otavina suffered second-degree burns covering 30 percent of her back after a power bank exploded next to her bed in Moscow.

The power bank overheated because it was left on soft bedding, igniting her hair and then the surrounding room.

Otavina extinguished the flames herself and ran cold water on her burns before emergency services arrived.

She now urges others to charge devices on firm, ventilated surfaces and never while sleeping.
