Thousands of farmers stage protest in Prayagraj over agrarian, civic issues

Thousands of farmers from across Uttar Pradesh protested in Prayagraj near All Saint's Cathedral.

The protest was organized by the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) Tikait faction's 'Dera Dalo, Ghera Dalo Kisan Samman Mahapanchayat'.

Farmers mounted pressure on the government over a range of agrarian and civic issues.

BKU leader Rakesh Tikait was absent from the protest.

Farmers arrived on tractors from various parts of the state.
