Damani's Bright Star Buys 2.37% Stake in Sundaram Finance

Bright Star Investments Private Ltd, the investment vehicle of Radhakishan Damani and family, acquired a 2.37% stake in Sundaram Finance during the June 2026 quarter.

Despite the entry, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) stake declined to 18.58% from 18.97% in the March 2026 quarter.

Promoters held 37.21% stake, Domestic Institutional Investors increased holding to 8.00%, and public shareholding stood at 35.43%.

Sundaram Finance, an NBFC focused on vehicle and SME finance, saw its stock rise 0.68% to Rs 4,455.30 on the news.
