20 yrs after PG paper leak: No trial yet, students under lens now docs

The 2006 RGUHS PG medical entrance exam paper leak case has not gone to trial after 20 years.

CBI filed a chargesheet in 2008 naming the vice-chancellor and registrar as accused along with 16 candidate-beneficiaries.

The accused vice-chancellor sought discharge in 2015, claiming no operational role, but courts refused in 2020.

The case shifted to a fast-track court around 2015-16, but trial delays persist due to investigation issues.

The 16 candidate-beneficiaries have built medical careers while the case remains unresolved.
