100 new Aam Aadmi Clinics inaugurated in Punjab

Punjab government inaugurated 100 new Aam Aadmi Clinics, expanding the network to 1,090 facilities across the state.

The clinics provide free consultations, essential medicines, diagnostic tests, and treatment for common ailments.

Health minister Dr Balbir Singh said over 42,000 pregnant women receive antenatal check-ups monthly at the clinics.

More than 1.25 lakh patients with non-communicable diseases like diabetes and hypertension receive regular treatment and follow-up care.

The clinics have reduced patients' out-of-pocket expenses and travel time while strengthening public confidence in government healthcare.
