Large office transactions account for 59% of H1 2026 office leasing, Bengaluru and Hyderabad lead: Report

Large office transactions (≥100,000 sq ft) accounted for 59% of total office leasing in H1 2026, totaling 28.2 mn sq ft across eight cities.

Bengaluru recorded 10.1 mn sq ft in large office deals, representing 72% of its total leasing.

Hyderabad saw a 63% YoY increase in large office leasing to 4.9 mn sq ft, making it the fastest-growing market.

Knight Frank India report highlighted that Global Capability Centres drove leasing activity in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

Delhi NCR and Mumbai registered 4.9 mn sq ft and 3.1 mn sq ft in large office transactions, respectively.
