Delhi Development Authority (DDA) handed over two acres to Public Works Department (PWD) for construction of Modi Mill and Savitri Cinema flyover projects.
The land transfer cleared the last major hurdle delaying the two flyover projects on Delhi's Outer Ring Road (ORR).
₹150 crore has been earmarked in the current financial year for the projects, approved at a total cost of ₹412 crore.
PWD minister Parvesh Verma said tenders are expected to be issued in the next couple of weeks after completion of land transfer formalities.
The projects aim to create a signal-free corridor and reduce congestion at two of south Delhi's busiest junctions.
