Vijay's son Jason Sanjay says he'd cast father with Jason Statham

Jason Sanjay, son of actor-politician Vijay, will make his directorial debut with the film Sigma, starring Sundeep Kishan.

Jason said he would cast his father Vijay alongside Jason Statham if the Hollywood star wanted to collaborate with him.

Jason initially wanted to become a pilot or cricketer, but became interested in cinema during Class 11 and 12.

He studied filmmaking in Canada, where coursework at advertising agencies gave him practical experience.

Volunteering at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) broadened his understanding of world cinema.
