Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department signed an MoU with Boarding Schools Association of India (BSAI) on July 23, 2026.
The initiative covers 112 Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Vidyalayas across Uttar Pradesh.
Goal is to adopt best practices from top boarding schools to improve hostel management, discipline, leadership, life skills, and technology-based teaching.
Principals and teachers will visit BSAI-affiliated boarding schools to study teaching methods, hostel operations, and administrative systems.
A standard operating procedure (SOP) will be created from these visits and implemented in all 112 schools.
