Op Nomad Hunt: Punjab Police bring back fugitive gangster Jobanjit Singh from Indonesia

Punjab Police's Anti-Gangster Task Force and OFTEC secured deportation of fugitive gangster Jobanjit Singh alias Joban Billa from Jakarta, Indonesia.

Jobanjit Singh was wanted in India for murder, attempted murder, and violations under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances and Arms Acts.

The deportation followed a six-month operation codenamed Operation Nomad Hunt involving international intelligence and coordination.

DGP Gaurav Yadav announced the extradition, stating the operation dismantles transnational organized crime networks.
