Bandhan Bank employee shows neck-deep water outside Gujarat house: ‘I couldn’t reach my workplace’

Bandhan Bank employee Shivam Singh filmed himself in neck-deep water outside his housing society in Valsad, Gujarat on July 23.

The waterlogging at Akshardham Residency in Mograwadi followed a night of rainfall, leaving Singh unable to commute to his workplace.

Singh took leave from Bandhan Bank as he could not reach his office; he also reported a two-day power cut.

Local authorities and NDRF teams responded quickly with relocation, food, and rescue help, and the water level receded.
