Mohali consumer panel directs fast-food chain to pay ₹2,500 after customer’s order handed to another person

  2. Domino’s staff handed Harshveer Singh’s order for a non-veg taco Mexicana (₹177) to another customer and refunded the amount instead of serving the food.

  3. The commission found deficiency in service after the outlet failed to produce CCTV footage to support its defence.

  4. The compensation must be paid within 30 days, failing which it will carry 9% annual interest from the date of the order.
