Delhi University Political Science department turns 75, honours former faculty and launches academic journal

The Department of Political Science at the University of Delhi celebrated its Diamond Jubilee, marking 75 years since its establishment.

The event featured the launch of a new academic journal for the department.

Former faculty members and alumni were honoured during the programme.

Head of Department Prof. Rekha Saxena noted the department has grown to reach over one lakh learners annually.

Guest of Honour Prof. Rakesh Sinha spoke about the department's academic legacy and decolonisation of knowledge systems.
