Space department and Isro begins hiring for 746 posts, 92 will be scientist/engineers

DoS and Isro launched a recruitment drive for 746 posts, including 336 regular posts and 410 apprenticeships.

scientist/engineer 'SC' posts are open in level-10 pay matrix, with electronics having the largest share (34 vacancies).

Level-4 administrative posts are being filled through Isro Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB).

The recruitment addresses a 25-year-high vacancy rate of nearly 30% unfilled posts in DoS.
