'No legal action, FIRs being withdrawn': Bihar govt assures protesters in big win for students, CJP
Bihar government announced withdrawal of FIRs and no legal action against all protesters arrested in NEET (UG) protests up to 6 pm on July 26.
The home department stated all those arrested within that period will be released and no further action taken.
Bihar Police reported 694 people detained during the July 25 bandh, including 339 minors released after age verification.
Violence injured 91 police personnel, two administrative officers, and 13 civilians; 13 government vehicles were vandalized.
Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) warned of renewed protests if cases against all protesters nationwide are not withdrawn.
