Vikrant Massey opens up on fatherhood

Vikrant Massey credited his son Vardaan for bringing good fortune after winning the National Award for Best Actor for '12th Fail'.

Massey said, 'A lot of things have changed since he came. And I couldn't have asked for anything more.'

He shares Vardaan with wife Sheetal Thakur; their son was born in February 2024.

Massey won the Best Actor honour at the 72nd National Film Awards for playing IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's biographical drama '12th Fail'.

The film '12th Fail' is based on Anurag Pathak's book and follows Sharma's journey from poverty and academic failures to passing India's toughest competitive exam.
