Pune Crime Branch's Anti-Human Trafficking Cell raided lodges near Navale Bridge following a tip-off about women being exploited for prostitution.

Police rescued 9 women and arrested 2 individuals involved in the racket.

The operation was led by Police Inspector Ashalata Khapare, who used a decoy customer to confirm the information.
