Mother of 9 kills husband with axe in his sleep over suspicion of affair in Madhya Pradesh

Rumli Bai Dudwe (35) killed her husband Ida Dudwe (45) with an axe while he slept in Khargone district, Madhya Pradesh.

The murder occurred on the night of July 9-10, 2026, in Bazar Khodra Chidiya village under Chainpur police station.

Rumli Bai was arrested and sent to judicial custody after confessing to the crime.

She suspected her husband of having an extramarital affair and feared he would abandon her and their nine children.

The couple frequently quarreled over marital issues and the alleged affair.
