Delhi HC quashes 2 FIRs against ex-AAP MLA for COVID-era Tiranga Yatra

The Delhi High Court quashed two FIRs against former AAP MLA Kuldeep Kumar.

The FIRs were related to a Tiranga Yatra held during COVID-19 in 2021.

The court ruled that a continuous procession passing through different police jurisdictions cannot be treated as separate criminal incidents.

The court cited the 'test of sameness' and protection against double jeopardy.
