French artisans build medieval castle using 13th-century methods

Construction of Guédelon Castle began in 1997 in France's Burgundy region.

Over 60 artisans use only hand tools and medieval techniques to build the castle.

The project serves as an archaeological research site and tourist attraction.

After more than 25 years, the castle remains unfinished.
