EPFO: Submitted a claim? Here's what the status message means and timeline for settlement process

Online EPF claims are settled within 7-10 working days; offline claims take up to 20 days.

Claim status 'Under Process' means EPFO is verifying, with expected completion in 7-10 working days.

'Payment Under Process' indicates funds transfer has been initiated and may reflect in 2-3 working days.

'Settled Amount' means the money has been credited to the bank account.

If a claim is not settled within 20 days, members can raise a complaint at epfigms.gov.in.
