Maha directs aggregator firms to complete registration by Sept 1

Maharashtra has directed all aggregator companies to complete registration under the state’s aggregator policy by September 1, 2026.

Failure to register will result in strict legal action for operating without authorisation.

Transport minister Pratap Sarnaik stated that unauthorised passenger transport will invite legal action against both the aggregator company and the vehicles involved.

The policy requires vehicles to have valid permits and registrations, and drivers to meet eligibility norms.

Cabs, auto-rickshaws, and bike taxis must be registered as commercial vehicles.
