Pimpri-Chinchwad: Man Dies, Wife & Daughter Critical After Suicide Attempt; Financial Stress Suspected

Vinod Pillai (50) died; wife Shailaja (45) and daughter Purnima (19) are critical after a suicide attempt at their home in Morwadi, Pimpri-Chinchwad.

Police found a handwritten suicide note indicating financial distress; Vinod had recently lost his job.

The family was admitted to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial (YCM) Hospital; police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR).
