Daniel Adongo deported by ICE after overstaying visa following short NFL stint with Indianapolis Colts

Daniel Adongo, a former Indianapolis Colts linebacker and Kenyan national, was deported by ICE on June 20 after an immigration judge ordered his removal on March 23.

Adongo overstayed his visa after being released by the Colts in 2015; his visa expired in 2016.

He faced multiple arrests in Indiana, including felony intimidation, battery, and disorderly conduct, and was convicted of criminal mischief with damage in 2020.

His most recent charges fall under the Laken Riley Act, which requires detention without bond for migrants illegally in the country charged with certain crimes.
