'Sexually explicit language': Cyber complaint filed over 'defamatory' Instagram video targeting Rahul Gandhi

A KPCC Legal Cell member named Siddaraju filed a police complaint with Bengaluru Cyber Crime Police about an Instagram video targeting Rahul Gandhi.

The 30-second video, posted by the account ground.reality_india on July 16, contained defamatory and sexually explicit language against Rahul Gandhi.

Several Instagram users posted abusive and sexually explicit comments under the video, including remarks offensive to women's dignity.

Police registered a case under the Information Technology Act and Section 352 of the BNS (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace).

Police have taken measures to delete the video and are tracing the account administrator.
