Zoil admitted to anonymously gifting himself 20 Twitch subscriptions on his July 30, 2026 livestream to start a Hype Train, and defended the act during Ludwig's Streamer Games 2026.

Nmplol privately messaged Zoil for an explanation, but Zoil publicized the exchange, calling Nmplol a 'bum' and saying he would not apologize.

On August 1, screenshots of Nmplol's Discord messages surfaced on X, where he criticized the self-gifting as 'pathetic' and misleading to viewers.

Nmplol clarified in his August 2 livestream that he was not accusing Zoil of botting, but simply wanted a private explanation before publicly commenting.
