Bhiwani boxers Preeti Pawar, Jasmine Lamboria win CWG golds

Preeti Pawar won gold in the women's 54kg event at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Jasmine Lamboria won gold in the women's 57kg event at the same Games.

Pawar's father, Somvir Singh, said she missed the Olympics due to illness, which was a regret.

Lamboria's great-grandfather, Captain Hawa Singh, was a celebrated Indian boxer; her uncles are former National Champions.

Lamboria began boxing in 2016 and was trained by her uncle Sandeep Singh.
