Jagatpuri woman stabbed to death, husband on the run

A 50-year-old woman, Komal Singh, was stabbed to death with scissors at her residence in Jagatpuri, northeast Delhi, on Thursday evening.

Her elder son Gaurav found her in a pool of blood and alerted police around 9 pm; she was declared dead at Dr. Hedgewar Hospital.

Police registered an FIR under murder sections based on her son's statement; her throat was also slit.

Her husband is missing and allegedly left on his two-wheeler; CCTV footage shows him leaving the house.

Police suspect a dispute over an extramarital affair led to the attack; multiple teams are tracing the husband.
