India's first hydrogen train, a 10-coach train (74010), will start its maiden journey on July 17 at 9am from Jind railway station.

The train is hydrogen-powered, making India one of the few countries with this technology.

Other nations with hydrogen rail include Japan, Germany, the United States, and China.

The launch marks a step towards sustainable rail transport in India.
