Ludhiana: Two months on, School of Eminence still awaits inauguration

School of Eminence campus at Kidwai Nagar in Ludhiana completed two months ago remains uninaugurated, with no fresh date announced after the May 28 postponement due to chief minister Bhagwant Mann's unavailability.
Students continue studying at the congested Government School at Division Number 3 while the new 40-classroom facility stays locked.
A proposed visit by the director of public instructions (DPI) secondary education for the inauguration was also postponed, with no update since.
Ludhiana central MLA Ashok Parashar Pappi had stated the new building would primarily accommodate newly admitted students, not shift all existing ones.
District School of Eminence in-charge Vishwakirat Kahlon confirmed no official communication on the inauguration date has been received.
