Witness describes victim's reaction in Seattle Center shooting

A shooting occurred at the Bite of Seattle food festival at Seattle Center on July 26, 2026.

At least two people died and five others were injured, according to Seattle Fire.

Victim Dominque Campbell saw a woman shot who did not know she was hit, repeatedly asking 'what happened'.

Mayor Katie Wilson initially said two people were taken into custody, then updated to one person in custody.

A partial lockdown at Harborview Medical Center, where victims were treated, has been lifted.
