Locust Grove Fire Grows to 20 Acres in Tri-Cities Area

The Locust Grove Fire grew to about 20 acres on Friday, according to WatchDuty.

Firefighters expanded their response and incident commanders requested additional wildland strike teams.

A third strike team was requested as crews worked to prevent the fire from threatening homes and other buildings.

The vegetation blaze is located south of Tri-Cities.
