Artist Satish Gujral honoured with commemorative stamp on birth centenary

A commemorative postage stamp featuring Satish Gujral's self-portrait was unveiled on August 4, 2026, by Union communications minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.

The stamp was released by the Department of Posts in collaboration with Raseel Gujral Art Legacy (RGAL) at Bikaner House.

The stamp reproduces a 2010 acrylic on canvas self-portrait, one of only four self-portraits the artist created.

The launch coincided with an exhibition at Bikaner House from August 4 to 9, showcasing limited-edition stamp collectibles.
