Man killed wife inside Thar she gifted him: Moradabad Police

Adila Rahman was allegedly shot dead by her husband Gulfam Ali on June 29 inside a Thar SUV she had gifted him.

Adila left home on June 25 for an LLB exam but went missing; her family lodged a kidnapping case on July 18 after finding a marriage certificate.

The couple married secretly; Adila financially supported Gulfam but pressured him to cut ties with his family, leading to conflict.

Gulfam intercepted Adila's taxi in Joya, shot her at an old toll plaza on the Delhi-Lucknow Highway, and dumped her body in a canal in Roorkee.

Moradabad Police (SP Kumar Ranvijay Singh) said Gulfam confessed while already jailed in Rampur; investigation continues.
