Mayawati expelled former Rajya Sabha member Ashok Siddarth from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) with immediate effect, stating he will not be taken back.
Siddarth was previously re-inducted in September 2025 after being expelled in February last year over anti-party activities.
He was expelled for indiscipline and violating party directives in Karnataka, Odisha, and West Bengal, despite repeated warnings.
Mayawati also expelled coordinator Randhir Singh Beniwal for indiscipline and violation of party directives.
Ramji Gautam will continue as BSP's Punjab in-charge until the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha polls.
