Abhijeet reveals he defended Udit in kissing controversy

Abhijeet Bhattacharya advised Udit Narayan to openly acknowledge the kissing controversy instead of being defensive.

Abhijeet told Udit: "If fans hug you and kiss you, then accept it. If they kissed you, then you also gave one kiss back. What's the issue?"

Udit Narayan faced criticism in early 2025 after videos from a concert appeared to show him kissing a female fan on the lips.

Abhijeet wrote in support of Udit and encouraged him to own the incident.

Abhijeet also stated that he publicly backed Sonu Nigam during a previous controversy when others stayed silent.
