Rohtak launches Daily 15-Minute Reading Challenge to improve literacy in government schools

Rohtak district administration launched the Daily 15-Minute Reading Challenge in all Government Primary Schools to improve literacy through daily book reading.

Project Vishwas, implemented by DIET Madina, was rolled out across 43 Cluster Resource Centres for Classes VI to VIII to build communication, leadership, and life skills.

The Competency Review Programme revealed students struggle with reading unseen passages and comprehension, prompting the reading challenge.

The administration reviewed Digital Skill Passbook and Mathematics Olympiad Coaching progress, and urged educators to make Rohtak a leading education hub in Haryana.
