Elephant Calf Rescued After Mother Dies in Kodagu

A 30-year-old elephant died of severe spinal injuries and internal bleeding in a coffee estate in Kodagu.

The elephant calf refused to leave its dead mother's body, moving locals to tears.

Forest officials rescued the orphaned calf from the site.
