Delhi Police recall Jantar Mantar attack during CJP protest

Head Constables Babu Lal and Balram of Delhi Police described being attacked with stones, sticks, and knives during the CJP protest at Jantar Mantar over the alleged NEET paper leak.

Thousands of protesters had gathered at Jantar Mantar, according to the officers.

One officer sustained severe head injuries and was rescued by bystanders before being taken to hospital.

Another officer said he and his colleagues were attacked from behind amid the chaos.
