IIT Madras site hacked by denied cybersecurity applicant

An applicant who was rejected from the BCyber cybersecurity programme at IIT Madras hacked the institute's website to protest perceived unfairness.

The applicant claimed to have completed the admission process, paid fees, uploaded documents, and submitted cybersecurity work evidence but was not shortlisted.

The hacker stated, 'All I need is just a fair chance', demanding reconsideration for the seat.
