Sigma Advanced Systems wins $104.9 million export contract

Sigma Advanced Systems secured a USD 104.9 million export contract to supply 155mm base bleed artillery shell bodies.

The contract is for 147,000 extended-range 155mm base bleed artillery shell bodies from a North American customer.

Execution over 6 to 12 months will enhance revenue visibility, order book, and margin-accretive profitability.

Base bleed shells incorporate a gas-generating unit to reduce drag and extend range compared to conventional shells.

The order builds on Sigma's prior contracts for 155mm fuzes and M107 shell bodies, moving up the artillery ammunition value chain.
