IndiGo offers crisis management plan to settle CCI probe into flight disruption case
in5points
IndiGo proposed commitments to the Competition Commission of India to settle a probe into flight disruptions from December 2025 that affected over 300,000 passengers.
The airline will create a Crisis Management Group (CMG) and a 24x7 Customer Experience War Room to handle large-scale disruptions.
IndiGo offered to temporarily surrender domestic airport slots to authorities during major disruptions.
Other proposals include automatic refunds, alternative flight bookings, and strengthened passenger handling with additional vendors for meals, water, and transport.
The CCI has paused its investigation and is seeking public comments on IndiGo's commitments before deciding whether to accept them.
